What is Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)?
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three-year degree program for students aspiring to pursue a career in leadership and management. One can pursue this course after 12th and is an excellent getaway to get a job in different sectors including marketing, education, finance, sales, government job and others. The course can be pursued by students of all streams-commerce, arts and science. The course allows students to specialize in subjects like human resource, accounting, planning, retail, operation and others.

Career options to pursue after BBA
LAW: After completion of your BBA graduation course, you can opt to pursue a career in the law field. You can enroll for the three-year law course that is divided in 6 semesters. The three-year law course can be pursued by graduates in any discipline. One needs to pass the entrance test to secure a seat in a law school. Further, law students can specialize in any field-family law, taxation, criminal and others.
Hotel management: After graduation, you can choose to do a PG Diploma or Masters in Hotel Management. You can also pursue MBA in hospitality and tourism. Pursuing a career in this field will open up opportunities in several areas including club management, catering services, hotels, kitchen management and others; the course also helps you gain an insight into front service operations, marketing, accounting and others. You can also start your own restaurant or catering business.
Teaching: If you think you are good at teaching and communication, then pursuing a career in teaching can open a plethora of opportunities for you. Depending on your skills, qualification and abilities, you can choose to work as a pre-primary school teacher, primary school teacher, secondary school or a secondary school teacher. To work as a teacher, you can pursue courses in B.ED, D.EI.ED, ETE and others.
Event management: If you are good at socializing then pursuing a career in event management can be a great option. You can choose to work as an event manager at an event management company. If you wish to specialize in this field, you can choose to do a postgraduate course of 2 years or diploma of 1 year.
Digital marketing: This is a popular option you can choose after BBA. Digital marketing is online marketing that includes selling and promoting products through various online channels such as social media, email and SMS marketing, SEO, content, SEM and others. To excel in this field, you can either start interning at an agency to gain practical experience or you can pursue an online course that will help you gain complete insight of the field.
Chartered Accountancy: Another option you can think of is preparing for CA. It would take upto 5 years to pursue the course and includes 6 foundation course subjects like Fundamentals of accounting, mercantile law, business communication, general economics and others. Go for this option if you are interested in accounts, law and economics.
